As Cypress Solutions' VP of Engineering and Co-Founder, Matthew Murnaghan leads the company's product development and technology strategy. With a background in mechanical engineering and experience in the high technology sector, he is a specialist in the areas of automotive component and product designs as well as the integration of advanced manufacturing technology in industrial and consumer products. Matthew co-founded Cypress Solutions with Casey O'Neill in 1997 and today, the company is recognized amongst Canada's fastest growing companies by the PROFIT 500 rankings.
Samir Hadzimusic is the engineering team lead at Cypress Solutions. With experience in the telecommunications industry, he has been involved in numerous hardware and embedded software projects including wireless device development, industrial control and monitoring devices and FGPA designs. Samir joined Cypress Solutions in 1997 and has been instrumental to the development of the company's Chameleon product suite.
Mike England has over 25 years of experience in designing and developing software systems and applications for large enterprises. Throughout his career, he has held key technical and design roles with a number of companies in the natural resources and technology sectors. His experience with software development spans across engineering, scientific as well as commercial business applications for embedded, hand-held/pda, desktop, server and high-end graphics workstations.
Wolfgang Tolkien is a firmware development specialist with over 15 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the development of products which can be easily integrated into clients' existing IT infrastructure, enabling wireless to be a viable alternative to landline communications. These products support wireless connectivity and data management solutions for enterprises, wireless ATMs as well as mobile retail outlets. Prior to joining Cypress Solutions, Wolfgang was the President and CTO of Agilink Systems Corp., a 3G/4G wireless gateway manufacturer and solutions provider for enterprise applications. The company was acquired by Cypress Solutions in 2013.
Colin Chester is a telecommunications specialist with over 25 years of experience with enterprise voice and data networking systems in wire-line and wireless applications. He has served the telecommunications industry in different capacities ranging from systems engineer for hardware companies to solutions design consultant to the owner of an end-point equipment developer and manufacturer for CDPD networks and business systems. In various settings, he has managed complex issues in the area of strategic vision for wireless technical infrastructure, design, installation, training and post-implementation support. Prior to joining Cypress Solutions, Colin was a Solutions Design Consultant with Rogers Wireless where he worked extensively with customers, product management, sales and marketing on M2M initiatives which enabled fixed and mobile business systems to operate on cellular networks for primary and back-up communications.
Joe Sutton is a telecommunications specialist with 20 years’ experience including management, professional services, system engineering and operations. Dedicated to continuous process improvement in the face of rapidly evolving and changing markets. Extremely results-oriented and proactive in addressing and resolving problems. Prior to joining Cypress Solutions, Joe worked with Bell Canada for 10 years in Professional Services where he was accountable for managing the consulting and solutions-level engagements in western Canada.
