Vehicle Control and Track System
This portable system is installed into a vehicle to provide real time wireless vehicle access/ignition control and fleet tracking.

How is vehicle access authorized?
An ID card is displayed to the card reader in the vehicle. If the ID card is validated, the ignition is able to be started. Without a valid ID card the employee is not granted access to operate the vehicle.

Can employee vehicle usage be monitored?
Yes. The Vehicle Control and Track System allows you to track and monitor an employee's vehicle usage. Reduce workplace discrepancies and encourage employee accountability by knowing who's been operating what vehicles and when.
What if there is an excessive idle condition?
The vehicle ignition can be remotely controlled. When an excessive idle condition is determined, the ignition is disabled using a mapping application on a computer.

How are vehicles tracked?
The position of fleet vehicles are tracked and monitored via a mapping application and an on-board GPS receiver.
How does the Vehicle Control and Track System work?
An employee displays their ID card to the proximity card reader. The ID card is validated by the system. A valid ID card enables the engine to be started. The Vehicle Control and Track System calculates its position based on GPS satellites. System data is communicated through cellular/Wi-Fi technology. Using a mapping application, vehicle information is monitored and the ignition state is remotely controlled. An optional E-VDT provides access to operating parameters for OBDII/J1939 equipped vehicles.
