Made for external mounting, the weatherproof Rooftop Gateway can be mounted on a vehicle's roof or side mirror or to a building's exterior.

Mirror mount option

To mount the Rooftop Gateway to the exterior of a vehicle, a side mirror mount can be provided.

How does it work?

The Rooftop Gateway connects to the RS-232 port of a Chameleon CTM-200. The Rooftop Gateway accepts messages from WPAN devices and formats them for the Chameleon CTM-200. The Rooftop Gateway communicates using serial data communications or DTR signals (Man-Down alerts only).
