This weatherproof device "extends" the range of the Man Down Pendant by acting as a hopping point to relay messages across a greater distance.

How does the Range Extender work?
Range Extenders are placed at key positions near a hazardous area. A truck installed with a Chameleon CTM-200 and Windshield Gateway parks as close as possible to the work site. An intrinsically safe Man Down Pendant communicates an emergency message that is relayed to the closest Range Extender. The message hops from each Range Extender to the Windshield Gateway providing the Man Down Pendant extended coverage.
