This weatherproof device "extends" the range of the Man Down Pendant by acting as a hopping point to relay messages across a greater distance.

Do I need a Gateway to use the Range Extender?
Yes. Every WPAN device requires a Gateway to communicate with the modem. Click the image to view the wireless product structure.
How does the Range Extender work?
A truck installed with a Modem and Windshield Gateway parks as close as possible to a work site. Range Extenders are placed at key positions. The Man Down Pendant communicates a message that is relayed from each Range Extender to the Gateway. This provides the Man Down Pendant extended coverage.
