Cypress Solutions Launches Chameleon CTM-200 Wireless Gateway

VANCOUVER, B.C. (April 4, 2011) – Cypress Solutions, a leading developer of wireless products and software solutions, announced today the launch of the Chameleon CTM-200 gateway, a high performance wireless data device for commercial and industrial markets.

The full featured Chameleon CTM-200 gateway offers a flexible and upgradeable platform that works with a broad range of wireless technologies. The rugged design and highly customizable operating system make it ideal for many mobile and fixed site machine-to-machine (M2M) applications.

The CTM-200 gateway integrates seamlessly with Chameleon Planet, Cypress Solutions’ remote device management software. Chameleon Planet allows configurations and firmware updates on multiple gateways in the field with no user intervention. Gateways can be logically grouped together for easier management and monitoring. Status indicators provide a real time view of the “health” of remote devices.

The CTM-200 gateway supports a broad range of wireless technologies including CDMA (1xRTT/EV-DO), UMTS (WCDMA/HSPA), 802.11, and 802.15.4 and emerging technologies such as WiMAX and LTE. The CTM-200 meets or exceeds industry standards including MIL-STD 810F/SAE standards for shock, temperature, vibration and humidity and has FCC and Industry Canada standards approvals.
