Engine Diagnostics
Diagnose problems as they happen and before they result in vehicle down time and lost revenue. Access information such as:
- vehicle speed/RPM
- idle time
- gas mileage
- odometer reading

Engine Vehicle Diagnostic Transmitter
The Engine Vehicle Diagnostic Transmitter (E-VDT) is a small rugged device that connects to a vehicle’s computer (ECU) allowing you to view a full range of operating information from any computer.

OBDII/J1939 Interface Cables
With an integrated CAN vehicle protocol stack, a low cost wired solution to vehicle control computers such as OBDII (ISO 15765-4) (2008+) and J1939 (heavy duty vehicles) is possible. The E-VDT can still be used for vehicles that do not support the CAN protocol.

How does the E-VDT work?
The Engine Vehicle Diagnostic Transmitter (E-VDT) wirelessly communicates data to a Chameleon CTM-200 providing real time fleet management access to operating parameters such as speed, RPM, idle time, gas mileage, and odometer readings. The E-VDT connects directly to the OBD port of light and medium duty vehicles from 1996 or later. It can also connect to a J1939 interface cable for use with heavy duty vehicles.
