Raptor Cam Functionality

Customer: Construction company
Cypress product: Chameleon Modem
Results: A construction company sets up a 24 hour camera for eagle viewing to demonstrate their environmental consideration.

How it Works

A Chameleon Modem is combined with a camera to monitor an eagle's nest 24 hours a day. The high speed modem can handle the camera's requirement for a fast data transfer, and is built to endure varying outdoor temperature extremes. Images transferred to the modem are communicated wirelessly to a cell tower and then directed to the internet. This provides online viewing access to the eagle's daily activities, ensuring its habitat is undisturbed during a construction project.
